Yoga for Unity Conference
Every year, since 2009, we organize a Yoga for Unity Conference to promote "inner change for global change" and those making a positive difference in the world through service and social activism. The event is a fundraiser for Off the Mat Into the World and various global humanitarian efforts and local yoga outreach programs. So far we have raised over $2000 to support seva work all over the world. See photos from the 2010 Conference!

Global Mala Project for Peace
Each year around September 21st, United Nation's International Peace Day, we organize a Global Mala event to bring the yoga community together for 108 sun salutations and to fundraise for a charity. In 2010, our community Yoga for Peace event raised over $1200 for Centre County Big Brothers Big Sisters, and 2011 we raised $1470 for Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture.

Yoga Outreach
We provide yoga for a variety of special populations in the community:
Centre County Youth Service Bureau
Pennsylvania State University
New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission

Global Seva Challenge/Off the Mat Into the World
Kristen raised over $22,000 through Off the Mat Into the World for impoverished children in Uganda. As a reward she traveled to Uganda in February 2010 to take part in humanitarian efforts. Funds supported Building Tomorrow, Shanti Uganda, New Hope School & Orphanage, PACE/YouthAIDS, and the Acholi Tribe. Go to JOURNEY TO AFRICA to learn more about the campaign.

"As long as space endures,
As long as sentient beings remain,
Until then, may I too remain
And dispel the miseries of the world."
